Hey! I just did the theme update and a few things went back to the way they were before I edited them…
The side bar menu, can you please give me the code to keep it closed until they expand? Or just on the main homepage…..and once they enter the product category pages, those particular categories will be expanded at that point?
Also, I had someone go in a hide the prices until the customer logs in…do you happen to have this code to accomplish this as well?
Lastly, the search bar is gone from above the product categories….I use Omega Instant Search for WooCommerce, so our customers can have a more advanced search…but I am not sure how to get it back up there….
Hey I got the search engine bar to work again…I am having trouble figuring out how to get the filter navigation back on the product pages…..so the customers are able to filter through different attributes when searching for particular products.
Hello,
Please read this topic https://www.8theme.com/topic/product-category-pages/
and this article http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/woocommerce-price-only-when-user-login/ or plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/hide-price-until-login/
Check your inactive filters http://prntscr.com/exucc6

Ok, great. Thanks I was looking for those old tickets and was having some trouble locating them! Thanks!!
Also, am I able to start using a child theme now even though I am pretty much done with the development process of the site?? Or what would you recommend I do for future updates?!
Hello,
I can only suggest you create Child Theme and transfer all changes to it.
Read more here how to create Child Theme:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
We have already created and included child theme in theme package. You can find royal-child folder in theme package and upload it to /wp-content/themes/ folder.

Ok great. Thanks.
I went to the cPanel, to look for the line 1808 to get the side bar menu to stay closed….and that line is not present…but the menu still opens. Do you have any other recommendations to get that closed?
Hello,
Line position may be changed in new version theme. Please make sure that you commented this text:
$this.find('>li').first().find('.open-this').html(minusIcon).parent().addClass('opened').find('ul.children').show();

Ok, am I adding this code? I feel like I took this code out the first time I completed this task….I am not seeing that code anywhere in the “Load in View” section of the etheme.js file. I found it in another section but that did not do anything to the site. But from line 1794 to 1882 there is no sign of this code.
Hello,
Please make the same in your wp-content/themes/royal/js/etheme.js file: http://prntscr.com/eyklyn

Ok , so I found the code under the “Categories Accordion” on line 1570, and removed it. But the menu is still expanded….not sure what I am doing wrong. Is there a different section of the etheme.js folder I should be looking in ?
Hello,
Please provide FTP access in Private Content, so we could check it.

Rose Tyler.
here you are.
Hello,
Unfortunately, I can’t connect to your FTP.
But when I’ve checked the file in browser console http://prntscr.com/ez1fw6, so you need to delete this string.

Rose Tyler.
Ya, that code has already been deleted. It is not there, or on line 1570 where it was originally.
Not sure whats going on….I have literally read the entire file for the code and it is not present.
I will see if I can get a developer in there to figure out the issue.
Hey I am still having trouble with this issue…I had someone get in there and try to help me out, but they said they couldn’t find the code either.
I am going to provide some other login credentials to see if you could get in there and see why this sidebar menu won’t shut.
Sorry for any inconvenience…
Hello,
Sorry I can’t connect http://prntscr.com/f115s9
Please check wp-content/themes/royal/js/etheme.js file and delete this code http://prntscr.com/f1162i in 1636 line, clear all cache on server, site, browser, and then check.
Regards,
Rose Tyler.
Hey, so I attached a screen shot of the code on line 1636 where I have removed the code from line 1636, but it is still not closing the menu.
Any recommendations?
I am going to provide the FTP credentials again, I just realized I missed a part of the user name…that is why you were unable to get in. I just tried myself and it works! So hopefully we can figure this out!
Thanks
