Hello,
I want a sidebar only when I’m on a category page in my shop. (this page : http://plantopia.fr/categorie/tops-t-shirts/)
I don’t want the sidebar when I’m on the main page of my shop. (this page : http://plantopia.fr/shop)
How can I make this work?
Also the sticky sidebar is not working properly, half of it is behind my sticky header when I scroll.
Second things :
I don’t know how to translate website in french, I tried your tutorials but it doesn’t work :/
Thank you in advance for your help.
Hello,
1) Yes, go to Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop page layout > https://prnt.sc/26f7z8l
2) Check the Sticky sidebar now
3) Follow the docs https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/
I have uploaded a partial translation of the XStore theme and XStore core plugin. So, you need just finish the translation according to your needs if you still have any missing strings.
Regards
Hello Olga,
Thank you very much for your help.
Other questions along the way if I may:
1. Is there a way to display on a product page a slider with products of the same category?
I had the “related products” slider by default but it displays products from other categories and I don’t want that. I also saw that I could use crosssell/upsells products but then I have to add every products by hand on each product page…
2. Can you let me know where to modify the content of 404 page? I already looked into page/staticblock/xtore settings and I can’t find it. I want to delete the searchbox and edit the text.
Let me know if you want me to create a second ticket if I have further questions in the future or you prefer only one ticket.
Thank you in advance
Hello,
1) Related Products is a section that pulls products from your store that share the same tags or categories as the current product. These products cannot be specified in the admin, but can be influenced by grouping similar products in the same category or by using the same tags. https://woocommerce.com/document/related-products-up-sells-and-cross-sells/#section-3 So, as you understand theme does not have control of the products you see there. It comes from WooCommerce.
We have only Related, Upsells, Cross-sells. We don’t have any other options to show products on a single product.
2) Go to Theme Options > 404 Page > add 404 Page Content that you would like to show there.
If you have other questions that are not related to the previous ones then submit a new topic to avoid misunderstanding.
