Since updating to the lastest XStore my site looks terrible

    I’m missing the custom fonts, everything is times new roman and the layouts are off.

    What’s happened?

    Hello,

    Please set fonts in Theme Options > Typography.
    Also, describe your problems in more details and provide us with temporary wp-admin access so we can take a closer look.

    The theme footer layout is messed up, it looks like this:

    But it used to look more like the design with some minor mods:

    2) Please go to Appearance > Widgets > http://prntscr.com/l57phx

    Hello,

    1) I console on your site – http://prntscr.com/l6pc6c Please try to re-upload fonts in Theme Options.
    2) Sometimes, not always, widgets could be messed up after the update. You need to set them appropriate to your needs one more time in Appearance > Widgets.

    fonts uploaded again and still not working.

    In your screen grab there is “httpss:” where did that come from, I’ve never seen anything like this before?

    I’ve scanned the db and there are no httpss references what so ever.

    I’m looking at it and to be honest, the amount of work to get it back to the way it was pre 5.x looks depressing.

    Is it worth going back to 4.x?

    Hello,

    We have fixed the fonts problem. Also, I have created footer similar to the layout that you sent me in the very first message. I have created it using Static Block https://youtu.be/hmsxW5KF9dg
    I have added some styles to get back font styles of the old version of our theme. Check if this is ok for you.
    We plan to release regular updates for our theme in the future and it would be better to be updated to version 5.0 to get them in the future.

    Let me know if there any other things that you would like to change or fix.

    this is how I had the product page before the update:

    Is there an easy fix for this or do I need to start from scratch?

    1) Single Product. Problem was caused by out of date file. I have updated file. Check now.
    2) Explain to me the problem with brands page in more details, please.
    3) Top bar menu. Mobile menu. I have just re-added menu widget to the right top bar widget area. Is that menu that you wanted? Explain in more details problem with the mobile menu, maybe provide screenshot for better understanding.

    Is there a way to do this without using a override in a child theme? I.e. having advanced custom fields.

    This seems to have fixed itself!

    Wrong menu but right spot, thanks!

    There’s a new update, I’m worried about updating, same with Royal, am I going to end up needing to restyle everything again?

    Hello,

    1) I think no, changes that were made can’t be done without overwriting that file.
    2) Great
    3) Ok.
    5.1.1 version is for the WooCommerce 3.5 and we just fixed the variation images issue in the file that is not included in your child theme, so you should not face any problems with the update.

    New Royal update that we are planning to release doesn’t have such global changes or fixes as the XStore 5.0 update.
