Single product – view cart / checkout shortcut

On a single product, if you click on “Add to cart” on a product, it just gives a tick and then you have to scroll up to the top of the page to the shopping cart to checkout. On a Variant product, it will give you the option to continue shopping or checkout once you’ve selected your option of that variant product. Can we not have the continue shopping or checkout option also on the single product – so there’s a quick shortcut to checking out?

You’ll see the first selection shows the continue shopping / checkout shortcut.
The next product only shows a tick once added to cart, I want it also show the continue shopping / checkout shortcut. On both mobile and desktop.

I’ve updated plugins, however the theme is not updating and just keeps telling me to update which I am but it’s not updating.
