    Hello, Red8,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern about improving your site’s performance. We understand how crucial loading times are for the success of your online presence.

    https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-speed-up-my-website/

To enhance your site’s loading speed, we recommend the following strategies:

    1. **Optimize Images**: Ensure that all images are compressed and in the correct format. Tools like Adobe Photoshop or free online services like TinyPNG can help reduce image file sizes without losing quality.

    2. **Minimize HTTP Requests**: Reduce the number of elements on your page to decrease the number of HTTP requests required to load the page.

    3. **Use a Content Delivery Network (CDN)**: CDNs distribute your content across multiple servers around the world, allowing users to download data from the closest server, which speeds up loading times.

    4. **Leverage Browser Caching**: Set up your web server to enable caching so that returning visitors will experience faster loading times.

    5. **Minify CSS, JavaScript, and HTML**: Compress these files by removing unnecessary spaces, comments, and characters.

    6. **Enable Compression**: Use tools like Gzip to compress your website’s files which can significantly reduce their size and thus improve load time.

    7. **Evaluate Your Hosting Service**: Sometimes, the hosting solution can impact site speed. Ensure that your hosting service can handle your website’s traffic and content efficiently.

Implementing these recommendations should provide a noticeable improvement in your site’s loading times.

    Best Regards,

Okay from what you said I think my major issue is with lots of HTTP requests I can see a lot of requests being made to fetch my banner and category images even the product image, the issue is that I have already used the Smush plugin to optimize my images but I have not seen any improvement on the site. What are my options I can’t remove the elements because I need my categories ,product and banners images.

    Hi @Red8,

We suggest you to enable to Lazy Load option for all images under XStore > Theme Options > Speed Optimization > Image Loading Type > select Lazy:

    https://prnt.sc/OqBWjJ1LUlpS

Also enable the Ajaxify for all widgets: https://prnt.sc/-5ygO7-rW95G

If it still doesn’t help, you can try with WP-Rocket plugin: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-improve-wp-rocket-settings-with-xstore/

    Best Regards,
