Site running very slow and too may 500 errors

Hi there,

Recently I notice that our lengenda theme based WordPress site taking 20seconds+ to open the homepage and it always reports internal server 500 errors.

I have checked with my host and they suggest that we need to contact the theme developer as something there costs too much resource usage. Could you please give me any sound suggestion on this? I have read some posts so would any update fix the issue at all?

I have provided my ftp and wpadmin access details in private content. Please let me know if anything else that I can do to help in this matter.

Hello,

Ask your hosting provider support to install gzip compressions on a server. Also optimize your images. These articles may be helpful for you:

So technically there is nothing wrong with the theme? Why there are so many internal server errors? Do we need more server resource to run the theme properly?

I have done some optimisation to it already but nothing is improved.

For the record I have noticed this massive slowdown on the homepage on my install as well and have run all optimisation to no benefit.

Hello,

Internal Server Error is related to server configuration.
Ask your hosting provider support to increase memory_limit, max_input_vars values. Also you can check error log on a server if there are any notices regarding 500 error.

is it because of legenda theme? because I also have this problem. I doubt all of us are using the same hosting, and I have already switch mine to dedicated server.

And I have tried all ways to improve the speed, some of the stuff show up, got to do with the theme js.

Is there a new theme update coming up?
