Hello,
In my multisite installation I have built a slider in one site and I want to export it to my other 2 sites.
I export the slider, and then I cannot import it back.
I get an error: “Incompatible Archive.”
Hello,
If this error occurs, it seems like the zip file is corrupted. Please make sure that you can open it normaly on your PC and if not, please export again.
Regards
The zip is not corrupted.
It contains the text and images.
I did:
– Export Slider
and then
– Import Slider
in the same website, and it doesn’t work
Thanks
Do you use the latest version of Slider plugin?
Please provide us with temporary wp-admin access so we can take a closer look.
Regards
I have the version of the slider that comes with the theme.
Here are temp admin details (in private content)
Thanks!
Yaron
Thanks for the reply. Please let me know which slider and where exactly should be exported/imported to recreate the problem.
Regards
For example, the slider called:
‘Responsive slider’
Thanks
Hello,
Check now. Looks that there is some problem with archives that RS makes when exports slider on that site. We repaired archive and then we were able to import it to another site. Export archives from the fr version of the site are ok. Very strange.
Regards
I have noticed something strange:
The style.css used in the /uk and .fr sites are different versions.
Look at the urls in the private content
I took this from Chrome developer tools
Maybe this shoud give a clue. Is it possible that it uses different versions of Legenda theme?
Thank you
Hello,
In the first case, I suppose, you have the WP version at the end, in the second one – theme version. But if you check the file you’ll see that both files have the same version of the Legenda theme.
Regards
How did you repair the Archive? I still cannot export from the English site
Thanks
Hello,
Unzip the exported archive and then compress files of the folder.
Regards
