Recently our homepage slider stopped working without any site updates to my knowledge. I just attempted to manually update to the latest version of the slider and received the following error:
Update Error: The update folder don’t match the product folder, please check the update file.
Please update the plugin manually via the ftp.
I don’t see any instructions on how to update the plug-in via FTP without it deleting the slides created.
Please advise. Thanks in advance.

You can update the plug-in via FTP by uploading and extracting the plugin zip files into wp-content/plugins folder.
Also you’re using old theme and plugins versions.
Don’t forget to make backup of the site before update.

The video tutorial is for Legenda theme, but the process is identical.
You can download the latest plugins versions at this link https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ ,
enter your purchase code of the theme to get the plugins.

I’ve updated Revolution Slider plugin. Please check it. Also we recommend you to update the theme and other plugins.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!
(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).
