Hello,
I have upgraded to the new Blanco 3.4 after the recent WordPress update and have a couple of problems:
1 – the sliders on my homepage are no longer working
2 – I can’t get the banner on the product page to appear
FTP credentials are in private content.
Thanks
Monique
Hello,
1. Some plugin is causing the issue. Please disable them one by one to find it out.
2. We can’t access your cpanel getting an error: “Login Failed. Username or Password not recognized.”.
Could you please create FTP account for us?
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Jack,
I have made no changes to the plugins on my website to affect the sliders on my homepage.
Sorry – I provided wrong c-panel password. See private content for correct information.
Thanks,
Monique
Hello,
Did you try to disable 3rd-party plugins?
When I disabled them and kept only the required ones, the slider was shown.
So please try to deactivate them.
There is a bug with product banner display.
We recommend you to add an image in Shop page editor and it’ll be shown at the top of products on your Shop page.
We’ll fix this issue in the next theme update.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Jack,
I changed the settings in one of my plugins and managed to get the sliders working on the main page.
I also added an image in the shop page editor as you suggested and it did not show at the top of my shop page. I then added the image to the featured image…still nothing. Not sure if the bug is affecting this as well?
Thanks,
Monique
Jack,
I am now noticing another issue…after clicking “proceed to checkout” in the cart, the drop down menus for the payment options are not working.
If I select “paypal” as an option and click “place order”, I am directed to the PayPal page, but there should be a drop down that says that you must use paypal to pay via discover card or american express. After being directed to paypal, if I click “Cancel and return to…”, the drop down shows on the page.
If I select “credit card” as a payment option, no drop down appears to enter any credit card information. I have to click “place order”, then an error message appears at the top of the page and the drop down appears to enter credit card information.
The following is the error message shown:
“Credit card number you entered is invalid.
Card expiration date is not valid.
Card verification number (CVV) is not valid. You can find this number on your credit card.”
This is obviously much less than ideal.
Thanks,
Monique
Hello,
I’ve added this code in child style.css file:
#default_products_page_container .page-description {
display: block !important;
}
Now product page banner is shown.
Drop down sections are shown on Checkout page:
