I am trying to speed up the site using the WP Plugins suggested in your forum replies. The Autoptimize plugin caused me a lot of problems yesterday and after digging around I found out it has a known bug working with the new WP 4.7 release that won’t be fixed until WP 4.7.1 comes out. It causes the front page to break (images get like 10x normal size), load time to slow down. Their “fix” does not work as i tried using the snipped of CSS code they provided but it did not help. I have disconnected the plugin to get back to ground zero.

What other optimtize software do you recommend with XStore’s them to minify CSS, JS and HTML like the autoptimize plugin does? It was nice that you also gave us the recommended settings for those like myself who are neophytes at all this. I really want to get page speed fixed. The W3TotalCache did help.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Actually, W3 Total cache includes optimization options, so Autoptimize plugin can be disabled. Autoptimize is like alternative plugin if you don’t use W3 Total cache optimization option. Here you can read good post about plugin settings and some additional tips http://www.onlinemediamasters.com/w3-total-cache-settings/

WP Rocket is also good solution to speed up the site but it’s paid.

We took into account your request about the guide and we’ll try to add the article in our documentation about this in future.

    Regards

Thanks. I tried both W3 Total Cache and WP Rocket and for the small price they charge, WP Rocket is better! It gives better scores, MUCH easier to work with. Without any technical knowledge or help, I set it up in a few minutes and it gave me noticeably better page speed and scores
