after the last update, the system does not display the percentage discount for products that have variants, shows “small squares” as in the screenshot: https://zapodaj.net/de40c8b1655fc.png.html
the problem only pops up with products with variants

Theme Options > WooCOmmerce (Shop) > Shop elements > Sale & Out of Stock > Show Sale Percentage For Variable Products > On.

the next problem after the update … applies only to products with variants … when I add a product with a variant to the basket and choose the delivery method, the price without a discount changes, after refreshing the basket I only add a discount.

Please see this screenshot – http://prntscr.com/q11k0t Try to clear cache and check price on the checkout page one more time. If the problem persists, provide URL of product which can be added to the cart to see the issue.

to see that the price is changing, please choose a different delivery method, if clicking after change f5 (refresh) the price is ok; /

Thanks for the explanation.
Please check how it works with Storefront theme (default WC theme).
Try to disable all the third-party plugins, that do not come bundled with our theme, and check how it works then.
If the problem persists with our theme only and is independents of plugins, provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access.

1) You provided screenshot from the checkout for the Storefront theme, not for the cart page, but your issue persists on the cart page, right? So, why do you check the checkout with the Storefront in this case?
2) Provide WP Dashboard access to your site, please. We can’t log in.

With the Storefront I see the exactly the same issue with the cart subtotal while changing the shipping method https://gyazo.com/1d656cef345ec969a226657d9127550e
It means that our theme is not the reason of the problem and we can’t fix anything using theme files. Check the plugins that you use for the WooCommerce shipping for example. I suppose one of them is the reason of the problem and contact plugin author.
