Hi,

Great theme, I’m transitioning from Legenda to Royal, but seem to have hit a bump in the road. It’s likely a silly question, but I can’t seem to locate where to make changes to the social media icons. In other words they still link out with the demo content when someone goes to “share”.

You can edit social media icons code in \themes\royal\framework\shortcodes.php file on line 1737

it helped me, but still I don’t know where I should paste link to my icon.
I would like to add instagram icon.

Hello,

If you want to change social media icons links you need edit them in the file wp-content/themes/royal/framework/shortcodes.php (lines 1729-1761) and change the links to yours, for example for twitter, replace the link https://twitter.com/share?url='.$permalink.'&text='.$post_title.' to your Twitter account link.

Hi,

I really have no background in this so I’m not entirely comfortable updating the code myself. However, when the “share” icons are clicked, they link out to share, but include demo photos. The share icon for “mail” also doesn’t work. If possible I’d like to replace it with an instagram icon and add a youtube icon as well.

Is there any way to easily accomplish this with my lack of knowledge?

Sorry, but if you experience difficulties editing the code then you’d better use some plugins for social media icons.

Hi,

Im afraid Ive tried plugins, but the demo content isnt simply being replaced by the plugin icons. I tried sending in a contact form about getting a quote on the work, however, your contact for will not work for me and I keep receiving an error message informing me that the message is not sent. How can I go about this?
