Hey
I can’t seem to find where to change the social media URL links so the buttons link out to my own profiles
Usually that sort of thing is in theme editor but cant seem to figure it out. Also wondered if you have any sort of instruction manual to customise demo. I have a link to how to set up the theme but wondered if there were some more detailed set up instructions on how to edit footer widgets etc?
Kind regards
G
Hello,
First you need to disable demo footer blocks in Theme Options->General and then create your footer manualy.
Here is our documentation:
https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/index.html#!/9_footer
Also you can watch video tutorial how to set up footer:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWAQRXZXsaw
The video tutorial is for Royal theme, but the process is identical.

Robert Hall.
Hey,
Thanks for this, now I know how to create my footer, however in copying the text over from the documentation the share buttons coding is just [share] – how to I change the actual links to my own social media links?
Hello
You may manualy edit woopress\wp-content\themes\woopress\framework\shorcodes.php in line 1704 and below

Could you tell me how we add social icons at footer as page, account. (not sharing)
I mean social icon and they will reach our accounts, page. So while doesn’t change anything [share] it has to be something else to do it.
You may create static block with custom elements and add this block in appearance -> widgets->(8theme static block)to the footer areas. Your custom elements may icnclude html part of the code from share shortcode. Additional styles for icons can be adjusted in custom.css. How to create custom.css you may watch here.

Hi,
I am now experiencing issues with the Wishlist plugin.
I would like to switch it off, however when I disable the plugin features the bottom of my homepage (from the revslider down) all disappears.
Kind regards
Gabriella
Please clarify your request with more details/screenshots. Do you want to disable Wishlist plugin completely or some settings of it?

Hi Brian,
Thank you for responding. I want to disable the “Add to wishlist” Button on the products – do i need to disable the whole wishlish plugin to do this or is it used for other features within the theme? I won’t be using the add to wishlist buttons or featuring a customer wishlist page.
To clarify, when in the Wishlist plugin i de-select the following checkbox (to turn off the plugin I assumed this was what needed to be unchecked) “Enable all plugin features. Be sure to select a voice in the wishlist page menu in in this settings page. Also, please read the plugin documentation.”
The homepage currently features a revslider, followed by some product categories below, a text box below that and lastly featured products at the bottom of the homepage.
When I disable the wishlist plugin, the homepage changes, and only has the revslider on it. All the content below the revslider disappears. When I re-enable the wishlist plugin, the homepage goes back to normal.
Kind regards
Please provide us also with wp-admin credentials to let us check the issue.
