Hi,
I’ve created several categories and sub-categories. Most of them are working fine – some aren’t though and I need them all to show up.
Please see the private content for more details.
Thanks!
Also, nothing that has been tagged is showing up in the search. For example: I’ve tagged several items as ‘guitar pick’, but when you type ‘guitar pick’ into the search form, it says ‘No Products Found’.
Shouldn’t tags be included in the search?
Another issue: I have re-arranged the order of all of the categories in the back end, but they are still showing up in alphabetical order on the live site. They should be showing up in the order I’ve put them in from the ‘Products >> Categories’ page right?
Hello,
as we can see – you are using outdated version of Royal theme. Please update theme to latest version and check your site.
You can read here how to do it right:

Regards,
Stan Russell.
I have downloaded the latest them and upgraded to 1.5.2 but am still having all of the same problems.
Help please!
Rich
Hello,
Are you making any changes on the site right now?
Please provide us with FTP credentials in Private Content.

Hello,
I am providing the details you requested in private content.
I’m not currently working on the site today, so you can go in with no problems.
Thanks
Hello,
I’ve checked the categories with default WordPress theme and the same issue persists there too.
So you have to contact Wocoommerce support team as the problem isn’t related to the theme.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
I will attempt to contact WooCommerce, but I know from past experience that they aren’t very helpful to customers who are using themes with WooCommerce bundled into the package.
Also, if this is true (that it is a WooCommerce issue) why is the error I am getting on the categories that don’t show up come from the Royal theme files?
Please look:
wp-content/themes/royal/framework/theme-functions.php on line 4344
The error is coming from the a file inside the theme.
Hello,
Could you please clarify where you see the error?
As I see “Electric Guitars” subcategory is shown now.
Have you made any changes?
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
I just deleted the categories and re-created them. I had to reassign all of the products.
I still can’t get the Tags to be searchable.
Hello,
Sorry, but there is no option to search by tags in the theme, only by product names.
You may try to use some plugin to achieve what you need.
Sorry for inconveniences.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
