Hi,

There are some issues related to responsive view on mobile phone (e.g. on iphone 8 plus, or alike/etc.), other general issue on IE browser and other places, all listed below, your technical help is much much important and appreciated, would really need them to be fixed and waiting online for resolution please, cheers…

1) On IE browser, pls see this screen shot: https://prnt.sc/pjgwfl so the main menu is on left but not in center like in Firefox or Chrome browsers, also, the top-right corner the Cart icons there are missing in IE browser (e.g. IE version 11 or so)

2） for pages like this e.g. http://144.208.71.24/~wwwlifebiotechco/rd/ or http://144.208.71.24/~wwwlifebiotechco/scientific-advisory-board/ etc.

And,

3) Below are mobile view / responsive related issues found:
https://prnt.sc/pjh17h on this menu on mobile , the About Us menu won’t work as it is on PC, it should like to about us page but when click it only expand the menu down.

4) https://prnt.sc/pjh28y this issue is Toooooo much space above and below this image on mobile view which is not right — on this page http://144.208.71.24/~wwwlifebiotechco/our-mission/ , if it is on PC view then has no that much space.

5) On mobile view the Text on banner image is missing: https://prnt.sc/pjh3na on page http://144.208.71.24/~wwwlifebiotechco/scientific-advisory-board/

6) On mobile view this page http://144.208.71.24/~wwwlifebiotechco/about-us/ lost one image https://prnt.sc/pjh4i3 https://prnt.sc/pjh5hv *the 2nd image: telemore image is missing on mobile view.

7) On mobile view, the footer section , the ONLY the Telephone text colour goes to white, but it should be dark clour as it should be as other items there. https://prnt.sc/pjh7f5

[URGENT]

Hi,

Above issues are urgent require fix, Esp. the 1) IE browser issue – main menu won’t be in centre position as that is in FF or Chrome. And those Mobile / Responsive related issues are critical as well.

Would really need your prompt resolution on above ones, much appreciated.

I am using the plugin Yellow Pencil which is provided in this theme package, try to do above item 2), I wonder the styling changes made through this plugin, will the future theme upgrades affect such changes made from yellow pencil?

Hello,

1) IE is out of date browser, new header builder includes styles that are not supported by the old browsers like IE. Did you check the statistic, how many of your customers use this browser?

2） Edit the title and use custom styles to change font-weight, color etc. We made changes at this page as example http://144.208.71.24/~wwwlifebiotechco/rd/

4) It’s because of your content that is hidden for the desktop but visible for the mobile http://prntscr.com/pk1cvy I don’t know why did you add so many empty spaces elements.

Thank you for the answer, really appreciated.

1) Current header style look pretty good, but it doesn’t support IE (even on very latest version ?), which is not good… as there are still many end users still use IE browser, the only issue is the main menu aligned to left instead of to center position, I think this really should be fixed… could we please do something to solve this menu mis-aligning issue on IE…?

2) I gave up while waiting for answer in past 2 days, for this item I decided to make an image with those text using drawing software, so won’t worry about the hard way to adjust the position,style, size,etc…. But, thanks anyway for your solution for this item, I will learn from it.

3) Enable option https://prnt.sc/pk1913 ===> I am not sure about where to goto this place to set….? would you please advise bit more steps by steps, thank you very much.

5) Yes, I later knew this was the text position issue and related to responsive issue, but, anyway, like in above 2) mentioned, I draw the texts into the image and it looks perfect and has no responsive issue (i.e. those texts drew in image will shrink along with image in mobile view)

8) NEW Question: I today find one thing, seems, sometimes the priority of Theme Option / Custom CSS is higher than Theme Option / Additional CSS, as there was one pieces of CSS code I put in Theme Option / Additional CSS won’t work, but if I put into Theme Option/ Custom CSS it will just work…. Is my understanding correct above ….?

9) NEW question still related to responsive view: https://prnt.sc/pk3vkr , so e.g. in page like this one, in mobile view it got way too much white space in left and right side of the body content, I already set “Stretch row” for this body text content section, it look fine in PC view, but seems this setting doesn’t work for mobile view? and i can’t see other setting there to do separately for mobile/responsive ?

btw, screen shot in 9) https://prnt.sc/pk3vkr , I changed back the banner image (though i noted down your codes for this page), so the texts on banner image is not missing as it is drew into the image, the coding way I asked before and your coding solution in mobile view, those texts will disappear —- but it’s all good now, I will keep current Text drew into image solution. Just Fyi, Thank you anyway much appreciated.

Hello,

1) I have passed your issue to our developers to fix it in next theme update.
3) Theme Options > Header builder > Mobile menu https://gyazo.com/1659c3a7fa2b6556f0b79aa6dc73f55d
8) Maybe, depends on code and situation. Tell me what code did you use? I would suggest you to move all the custom code to child theme style.css and remove it from custom areas to avoid confusion and duplications.
9) You are using margin in px to add some space for the desktop but this margin won’t disappear for the mobile. So, either use other units like vw, % that depends on the site width or remove the margin http://prntscr.com/pk67kj and add space using column width for the desktop version only http://prntscr.com/pk68fe

1) Thank you for escalation of this IE issue, the website is launch this week, it is bit urgent though, if you could please prioritize the fix and about when we could expect the fix in next theme update?

8) as the website is launching this week at this moment as long as it works so far I may not touch on it for the time being…. but, is my understanding correct, that, if do future theme version upgrade, it won’t wipe off the codes in Custom Css and Additional Css (like won’t wipe off that in Child theme) ?

9) brilliant ! thanks for this tips, so I will follow your method to do this, best is the using column width I guess.

10) This is the previous old one above that was missed answering — If I were to use the plugin Yellow Pencil which is provided in this theme package, for doing some styling changes, just wonder will the changes will by affected (/wiped off ) by future theme version upgrade?

Much appreciated for you technical support as always, and again, that IE issue is really important needs priority for fix.

Hello,

1) Check now. We have added some custom styles to child theme style.css to fix the issue.
8) Changes added to Theme Custom CSS and Additional CSS and child theme style.css won’t be removed after any theme update because theme update works with theme files only, unoften – DB fields/tables related to parent theme only, not to WP or child theme.
9) You are welcome. Keep in mind that you can also change the container width in Theme Options > General > Site width if default 1170px is not suitable for you and you prefer wider layout.
10) Yellow pencil works with classes and ids. You won’t lose changes if classes or ids that were used to change something won’t be removed or HTML structure won’t be changed. We work on improvements of theme from time to time and it means that HTML structure changes not always but sometimes. So, you won’t lose your code but I can’t promise that code will be working if something completely changes.

Hi Olga,

We are doing some testing on launched website, there are feel things here I wonder if it is sth wrong:

1) the “join our newsletter” in the homepage (XStore Newsletter), please see this: https://prnt.sc/pkwr0u , why it gives this error prompt, and if i click “edit form settings” it goes here https://prnt.sc/pkwrfx , what to do then…

2) https://prnt.sc/pkwvof I have turned off / Disabled these two payment method, only Paypal is Enabled, but https://prnt.sc/pkww6u here in check out it still shows these two payment methods…? I thought they shouldn’t appear as I disabled in setting…

3) https://prnt.sc/pkx0uf For the paypal payment setting in XStore, is that basically just put the paypal email into it, then it will work in terms of online purchase and pay into this paypal account, right?

1) First of all, you did not connect your plugin with your MailChimp account https://kb.mc4wp.com/connecting-mailchimp-account-api-key/ Please, follow the plugin documentation step by step to launch subscription.
2) Disable plugins http://prntscr.com/pl0qg2 and contact plugin authors to solve this issue. We are not plugin developers to be in case. We are XStore theme developers and can help you only with theme options.

Thanks for your reply.

1) So this section has to use MailChimp account which requires purchasing an account from MailChimp…? I didn’t expect to pay for this section in the theme, though it was just a feature in the theme ready to use or wordpress included feature to collect subscriber’s email address…

Is there any alternative way… instead of MailChimp behind this section, just to realize the feature of collecting subscriber’s email address into backend of the website…?

Hi Olga,

Superb! I didn’t notice it is because of the BG colour thing, though it is not selectable and copyable.

While using this website, I further found two things, that seems to me is not right:

1) on pc view https://prnt.sc/pmi4se , on ipad view https://prnt.sc/pmi5gr , on mobile view https://prnt.sc/pmi5r0 , so on ipad and mobile, the account icon / access is missing, and I couldn’t find anywhere else to access account on ipad and mobile view, is there any setting on this? or is this a possible bug? I think on mobile or tablet view at least should have Account icon/access and Cart icons as they are critical feature for ecommerce website.

2) Go to Page > Add new > add the title Wishlist and paste the wishlist shortcode mentioned in the wishlist settings below the page select https://prnt.sc/pmib7l > Publish the page. Then go to YITH > Wishlist and choose the newly created page. Save settings. That’s all.

3) Read detailed information about Compare feature here https://wordpress.org/plugins/yith-woocommerce-compare/ on the plugin page. Let me know if you need any other information about compare after that.

For below your reply about Newsletter feature, I followed your instructions, created a free plan in MailChimp, and when I put an email address into website Newsletter field, click +, it gives message like https://prnt.sc/pq1cwc (Thank you, your sign-up request was successful! Please check your email inbox to confirm.)

However, when I goto check my email inbox, there is NO confirmation email received there, would you please kindly help me out on this, website was LIVE and really appreciated your prompt support.

I found the issue was due to that confirmation email went to SPAM mailbox, I thought initially there was issue between Website and Mailchimp.

one thing here: https://prnt.sc/pqe5p7 , on PC view the left / right alignment is perfect, then in the mobile view, https://prnt.sc/pqe6wm , there are two issues as below:
1) the copyright footer 1st line aligned in center which is perfect, but the social icons, how to let it also aligned to center in mobile view so to be look neat and nice?
2) still I can see the phone number is missing on mobile view (tried on iPhone Safari and Chrome browsers), likely the phone number colour went to White? but on PC has no such problem.

Could you please help me again, much appreciated.
