Some issues and question re theme update

Hi,
For last two days I am experiencing similar issues to those reported on the forum (formatting – product card messed up, general view – fixed after jetpack disabled and cache cleared – except header which is still not right – see screenshot). At the same time we see the issue with rest api (see pc – we do not know what is causing it).

We would like to update theme but we are afraid that site will be down – as we see many people with issues.
Also new WordPress is coming.

How to ensure smooth upgrade with such a core updates? We always follow your directions but if there is a known conflict we would like to know how to avoid it

Can you advice as to the current issues – (header and api problem?)

Update – api issue resolved but the rest remains open

Hello,

Edit the header using header builder and place the Newsletter element into 2 columns width instead of the one. One column is not enough to display the newsletter in one line

Well it was working just fine so far. I will follow your directions. Any advice on safe update or is it just hit or miss?

Hello,

If we release a major update (like 8.0, 9.0 etc) then we would suggest creating a staging site (copy of the production) and update the theme there first to make sure that everything is ok. Update production site only after that when you are sure that everything works correctly on the staging.
