    Hi,

I would like to bring to your attention some observations with the hope that you can take care of it.

    1. We use Polish payment provider PayU. Usually it works smoothly, but with the advanced checkout layout we have a glitch. We had to enable classic cart/layout.

    2. Position of additional button on the product page – we tried several solutions for instant checkout (like apple Pay – where you can initiate checkout straight from the product without being transferred tot eh store checkout page. Button is positioned in an ugly, not aligned way – I would like to achieve this https://snipboard.io/dH8pDv.jpg

    3. Integration with Google Pay/Apple pay – when we tried woocommerce payments this two options didn’t work (hooks related?)

    Hello, Namaste,

Thank you for choosing XStore as your WooCommerce WordPress theme.

1/ We are aware of this and have written a note under the option – https://prnt.sc/SVztK2IFEish
Unfortunately, it’s not possible for the author to make the theme compatible with all the existing plugins and additional customization is outside the scope of our basic support.

2/ Do you use Single Product Builder? Is it fine when the builder is disabled?

3/ Please try to test how it works with the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront activated on your site.
    Let us know results.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

    Dear Rose,

    @1
I have seen your not about problems with compatibility. I understand that it is a common problem so maybe it is worth looking into it. Especially that modified cart/checkout is very desired option. are you aware of payment providers who are compatible with your theme? Stripe?

@2 Yes I use single product bulider, I have not tried without it. If I disable it will it reset the settings? As always this way of troubleshooting is well… troubling.
@3 as above. I have seen this issue on the forum before.

Please not – ability to provide variety of payment options (GPAy included), instant checkout is something which for eCommerce owner is one of the priorities.

    Hello, Namaste,

    Thank you for your response.

1/ Some extra payment extensions could use “hardcode” classes or ids from HTML and it could be the reason why they are not showing/working correctly. Also, they could “touch” the specific hooks that are not added in the new layout (due to its layout specifications).
Most basic payment methods were working ok – we can tell this as a fact because there are not many customers who wrote us about such issues and those who even wrote us about such cases figured it out by switching to another type of cart/checkout layout, disabling advanced layout or making extra compatibilities with payments in their child-theme files (if it was possible).

2/ By switching off the Single Product builder functionality you will not lose the settings you made for the builder. Disabling it for troubleshooting is good practice for understanding the reason for many different issues users have. So you can disable it and check and enable it again without losing anything.

3/ It requires a deep check from our side after the next testing made by you.
For this time we recommend you check how it works with the Storefront theme. In case it works ok then please, check how it works with the XStore theme but without SPBuilder (single product builder) enabled to know if the reason is related to the builder. That will give us a direction of looking for a solution to the issue.

After answering the questions above you can provide us links to the problem pages and admin+ftp access. In case you have a live web-site and it is important for you to prevent any notices/debug texts from displaying on frontend we would recommend you to create the full duplication of this website (I mean to create a staging website as a copy of real one) and provide us access to it. In such case, we could make changes and try to find solutions without breaking your live website for customers.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team
