Hi! We have checked with our hosting partner concerning slow speed of the site. They informed us that this speed issue is most likely caused by the pictures on our site that are not optimized for mobile. They recommended us to take contact with our theme provider.

I also noticed that several pictures are blurry/unsharp (mainly on desktop). Can you provide us with a solution? Thanks

    Hello, Florian

Please read this article – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-speed-up-my-website/ Before uploading images on the site it is recommended to optimize them.
Also, you can try to use Robin image optimizer plugin, read more in docs of this plugin, it can be installed via XStore > Plugins installer.

    Kind Regards,

Thanks. However, this doesn’t really answer my question about unsharp images. We have transferred our images from our old website and I wonder if all of the image size settings are correct (i.e. do we need to use a plugin like regenerate thumbnails or similar to fix the image size issue). In other words, I am unsure what image sizes are used in the theme and whether this has caused the “blurry picture issue”. Happy to provide access to our site if easier for you to check

    Hello, Florian

Please read the next articles – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/woocommerce/product-images/ https://woocommerce.com/document/fixing-blurry-product-images/

“I also noticed that several pictures are blurry/unsharp (mainly on desktop).” – please provide screenshots of such pictures and URLs of pages with them, because we do not see this problem on your site.

Also, you may provide temporary wp-admin access, we will take a closer look.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team
