my search bar is not optimized . its a gifting items store so obviously anyone who buy from it will search like “gift for 2 year old kid ” or “toy for a 2 year old kid ” but when i am searching terms like this there is showing nothing . when i type the exact name of the product then its showing me the product.
so the problem is a very few number of people will come and search the product with its exact name 90% people will come and search for the ideas . so i want that the search bar give solutions to my customers .. give them ideas and show all the products related to their searching terms … how can i do that or if you can fix it then plz fix it
Hello, @Ram Yadav,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Upon reviewing your website, we noticed that you are utilizing the Xstore pop-up search widget in the header. To address the issue you are experiencing, we recommend enabling the Ajax search option. Please adjust the settings to “Search after x symbols,” then save and republish your changes. For further clarification, you may refer to the image provided in the private content area.
We trust this solution will be effective.
For future assistance, we kindly ask that you initiate a new topic for each distinct issue on our support forum. This practice helps us maintain organized support threads and ensures you receive timely and accurate responses.

Hello, @Ram Yadav,
Thank you for your response.
1/ Unfortunately, we do not have the option you are looking for.
2/ By default, the way the search works now is not a bug, but the behavior that is embedded in it at the moment, to change it, you need to rewrite the code to a large extent, and such customization will take a lot of time, and that additional customization is not covered by the basic support that we can provide here on the forum. should you require further customization, we invite you to submit your request via our customization panel at the following link: https://www.8theme.com/account/#etheme_customization_panel.
OR Please post your request on our Taskboard at https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/ -If it receives enough votes from other customers, our development team will consider adding it in one of the upcoming updates.
Additionally, You can try to use third-party search plugins that include the desired functionality.
We don’t give a guarantee for full theme compatibility with all 3-rd party plugins.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
