Hi, Some time ago you showed me how to place a banner in the “shop” (above products), but I would like it to appear in the entire shop, in all categories. How do I do that?
Hello, @Peter,
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
Upon reviewing your website, we noticed that you are utilizing a customizer layout for archive pages and a static block shop banner, which can be found under **XStore > Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop Page Layout > Banner Content**.
To display a banner for specific categories, you will need to add a static block shortcode. This can be done by navigating to **Edit Category > Description**, where you can insert the static block shortcode and save the settings.
For your convenience, we have included reference images in the private content area.
We hope this information is helpful. Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

But this is not a good effect as you can see.
I would like to place it the same way as on the main page of the store.
Shouldn’t the banner work in the “entire store” with all categories? After all, it is part of the store.
Hello, @Peter,
Thank you for your response.
We kindly request that you provide us with access to your site’s WordPress admin panel in the private content area, so we can review the issue and assist you accordingly.
Additionall,y To enhance your site further, you have the option to add banners for each specific product category. To do this, please create a new static block tailored to your requirements. Subsequently, you can edit the specific product category and embed the static block shortcode in the description. Ensure you save the settings after making these changes.
Additionally, To assist you in displaying distinct banners for different product category pages, we have prepared a detailed instructional video. We kindly request that you view this video and follow the steps outlined therein to implement this feature effectively.
You can find the video link in the private content area designated for your access.
2/ You can select the position via Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop page layout > Shop Page Banner Position, as the category description content takes the position option from there https://prnt.sc/jpx1YcBJ3H6v
If you decide to use static blocks for Descriptions, the full width can be set there.
We trust this resource will be helpful to you.

I edit products in wpbakery not in elementor.
If I install elementor, will something break in displaying or editing products?
Hello, @Peter,
Thank you for providing the wp-admin login credentials.
1. We have reviewed your website and adjusted the banner position by navigating to **Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Shop Page Layout**. As a result, the banner on the archive pages now appears in full width. Please refer to the attached image in the private content area for your reference.
Regarding the product category page, you are currently using a static block banner. If you wish to modify this banner, please go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to **Static Block > Edit**. You can then use the WPBakery Page Builder to make the necessary changes and update the banner as per your requirements.
We hope this information is helpful.
2. In response to your query about Elementor, please note that installing Elementor may cause display issues, as the content was initially created using WPBakery Page Builder. We recommend continuing with WPBakery to avoid any potential conflicts.
We trust this clarifies your concerns.
Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here to help you.

Hello, It can’t be like this now.
It looks awful.
I don’t know why the text is also at the top.
There was supposed to be only the graphics, just like on the main page of the store.
Please go back to what it was, because it looks very bad.
Now even the main page of the store is broken.
Go back to what it was.
Hello, @Peter,
Thank you for your response.
1/ We would like to inform you that we have reverted the banner position to its previous setting. Kindly review the shop page on your website to ensure everything is in order.
2/ If you are looking to set a banner on the product category page, similar to the one on the shop page, we regret to inform you that this is currently not possible.
On the shop page, you are utilizing the “Use custom banner above breadcrumbs” option available under the XStore settings. However, this specific option is not available on the product category edit page.
That said, there are alternative options available on the category edit page. You can either add a static block in the description or set a custom page heading image for the category.
For your reference, we have provided an image in the private content area.
We hope this information is helpful. Should you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out.
Best regards,
