Hello,
I have noticed a really strange problem with the Visual Composer rows.
I will try to explain it like it happened to me so you can check why is this happening? I will give you login details in the private area and a link to the specific page.
1 – In that page at the end, I have 3 rows divided in two and each of the 6 sections have a different background color.
1 – 2
3 – 4
5 – 6
2 – As you can see right now, the second one doesn’t have a background color, it is white. But, if you enter to edit the page, you will see that it has a color in the backend!
3 – The thing is, I think this happened because I clicked on the pencil to edit that inner row and change something. And after saving that, the color doesn’t appear in the frontend.
4 – I have tested duplicating any of the rows and the color appear correctly in the frontend, BUT if I click on the pencil of the inner row, even if I don’t change anything and simply save again, the color disappears in the frontend.
Could you please check what is happening? I have updated xstore to the latest version and it still happens.
Kind regards,
Marta
Another problem which I think is related to this one.
In another page, I have 6 squares with different information. As you can check in the page I link in the private content, each square in the first row has a different height. So I have tried to edit the row and configure it as “all the rows have the same height” but, after doing that, the row doesn’t take into account the paddings the the left and right of the row. I have left this row as the 3rd row of squares so you can see the difference.
I think these two problems are related somehow. It seems that if you edit a row or inner row, it deletes whatever configuration you have put there (the background color, the paddings…) this is really strange!
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind regards,
Marta
Hello,
I’m afraid that problem is related to WPML plugin.
WPBakery uses random custom classes for any row/column/element that you edit and use Design tab (adding the border, margin, paddings or bg) and apply styles for these classes http://prntscr.com/t9vkkt Once you edit the row WPBakery changes the row/column classes and update the custom but when WPML is enabled it does not update the mentioned custom CSS according to the changed classes. I think you need to contact WPML support to find out why this happens. We can do nothing with this because it’s related to the way WPML duplicates and updates content for sublanguages.
Also, we will be grateful if you share with us their reply about this compatibility issue with WPBakery. I’m sure that somebody already asked them about this.

Hello Olga,
Thank you for your explanation. I am going to ask tWPML now and see if they can fix it.
I will leave this topic open so I can tell you their reply.
Thank you!
Hello,
Yes, sure.Thank you.

Hello Olga,
You were right, other people had asked the same question. This solution worked for me: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/wpbakery-inline-css-gets-ignored-in-translated-pages/
What I did is disconnect the translated page, make the changes I wanted, and then reconnect it again. I see that if, after reconnecting it, I do any other change (even if it isn’t in that row) the changes revert back, so this isn’t completely fixed.
At least I know how to make it show correctly, and I really hope that either WPML or WPBakery will update their plugins soon so this isn’t a problem any longer. Maybe I will open a ticket with them to check if they have an estimated date or something.
Thank you again for your help!
Kind regards,
Marta
