Hello,
We have received a notice from the theme that our Maximum Execution Time parameter on our server does not meet the requirements of the XStore theme. The stated requirement is 120-180 seconds, our server is set for 60 seconds. I have reached out to WPEngine, our hosting provider, and they have told me that the 60 second parameter is set on all their servers, and that there is no ability to adjust it, only to disable it entirely (not recommended). So we have been running with this 60 second parameter all along, but now it is suddenly being flagged by the XStore theme. We don’t seem to be having problems. Please advise. And thanks for your assistance.
Hello,
max_execution_time is a limit for the execution time while running the script. For example, if you import content and script need more than 60 secs then you may face the problem with demo content import. But depending on other server settings script could finish its work faster. So, if you didn’t face problems with theme options then don’t worry about this parameter.
Regards
Thank you for your quick response. I am sorry I missed it earlier. As always, appreciate your support!
