what do I do? I don’t want to turn back the clock, because if I give the update to do it again
ElementorPro\Modules\Woocommerce\Widgets\Product_Add_To_Cart::handle_control_position: Cannot add a control outside of a section (use start_controls_section
).
I also am getting this error, with no work on my end. Everything on site/editing was working on friday of last week, go to work on it today—stuck with this error. need solution ASAP.
I also just updated to the latest Xstore update just today to 9.2.5 < no help.
I hope to hear from you soon, if you sort it out let me know
I deactivated the plugin and activated, elementro pro and it’s working
Hey coffeedog— to be clear: You deactivated Elementor from the Plugins page, then reactivated, and this is what resolved for you?
I have the exact same problem and I don’t even have the Pro version of Elementor.
I already tried deactivating and re-activating the Elementor plugin and had no luck.
Error message is ElementorPro\Modules\Woocommerce\Widgets\Product_Add_To_Cart::handle_control_position: Cannot add a control outside of a section use start_controls_section.
XStore Version 9.2.5
Rollback to Elementor Version 3.17.3 fixes the issue, but I would love to have a proper solution for this.
@Marketing Stirling – same, and I don’t have pro either – just basic/what Xstore installed. I have another ticket open hoping for a response soon as I’m dead in the water in continuing work right now :/
@sethr just rollback to Elementor Version 3.17.3 and make sure to disable automatic updates of that plugin.
Let’s hope we can get a fix soon.
Hello,
Yes, the recent update to the Elementor plugin has unfortunately resulted in an issue. Our development team has been notified and is currently addressing the problem.
As an immediate solution, we recommend downgrading the plugin to its previous version and waiting for the subsequent update of both the plugin and the theme.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation during this time.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
I have the same exact issue: https://altramoda.ro/?cmp_bypass=incognito
Hello, Weblike PRO,
Please downgrade the Elementor plugin version or provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access via the Private Content area here.
To provide wp-admin access, you can create a new user account with administrator role via the Dashboard, and provide us with the username and password via the Private Content area.
To create FTP access (FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, FTP encryption) , please contact your hosting provider for assistance.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Hello,
We kindly request that you upload the most recent versions of Elementor and Elementor Pro once again, it is important, and proceed with a thorough check upon completion. Please inform us of the outcome at your convenience.
Another solution can be re-uploading elementor.php file into xstore/framework/compatibility folder via FTP. The link to file is added to the Private Content area.
If the problem persists please provide wp-admin and FTP access, so we can check, because the problem was solved on our test sites after re-uploading the plugins.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
