The site started to run slower and slower as I was adding contet to it.
Specification of the site:
– staging website with zero traffic
– woocommerce with 30 products
– 2 pages with images – all optimized and reduced as size
– 2 small pages with one image – all optimized and reduced as size
– 3 legal pages only text
– server specification: 4G DDR4 RAM, 50G NVMe, 400% vCPU Xeon E5-2697A, Redis Cache, LiteSpeed
– plugin LiteSpeed Cache installed
You can say that the fronted is running ok – which I am not that sure because I saw sites with these server specification and were running better.
But the backend is hard to use, especially Elementor editor that is almost to not working.
I know the server specifications are good for this stage of the site – and we are not even running traffic, but something I think it is making the site go so slow.
Please help.
Thank you.
The only thing I did not try was changing the theme. Is it ok to try this? Any other recommandations?
