Theme is slow and functions strangely when being run from a facebook ad (not a browser)

I am trying to run a facebook ad and have been testing the ad. When you select colors / sizes and then try to click into the product sometimes it just freezes on the page.

If you do not select anything and then click on a product it takes a very long time to load, and if someone clicks the product again during loading, it seems to also freeze.

I have run these tests only on mobile, as you would still be in a browser on a desktop.
