Theme not Updating - by knceo - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    Please Help!..

    I am trying to update the theme for my site and it keeps failing. It says that the old files cannot be removed. I don’t want to completely remove the theme folder for fear I will lose record of my sales etc in woocommerce and other plugins. Please help asap. Is there something specific wrong because even some of my plugins will not update because the old files cannot be removed.

    Hello,

    Before updating you need create a back up of your files and database ( http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups ). Then just overwrite the existing files with new ones:

    When i try to do the overwrite in FileZilla all the files show as failed transfers… The old files are not being overwritten
