Theme Options not loading - by Shapepress

    Hi,

    I just bought your theme, everything looked fine and did everything according to your install documentation,
    but seems the theme options wont load :/ don’t know why?! If I click them, it loads and loads and nothing happens. Everything else works fine, so must be the theme, I think.

    could you have a look at it?

    nope didn’t do anything, just uploaded demo coming soon page now. But you can do everything you like with the page, just started out with it 😉

    oh and I looked your forum cause of the counter problem, any chance this is fixed? seems counter won’t work for my page either on the coming soon page :/

    I see that the counter is working now, thanks for that 🙂 but the theme options are still not loading :/ Any news?

    Hello,

    Sorry for a long delay.
    We checked your site and didn’t find any reasons from our side why Theme Options isn’t loading.
    We recommend you to check log files on a server if there are any errors or notices. Very likely it is Firewall issue. Your hosting provider support should help you to check log files and solve this problem.

    not good :/ I have checked the log files from my provider, here is the link: http://www.promo-karten.at/error_logs/promo-karten.at_error_log.e5357.txt

    don’t think that there is any reason why it wont work, any other suggestions what I could do? Really like your template and want it to work!

    got a reply from my hoster/provider. They think the firewall is the problem, cause they block extern servers and they want to know which url is the theme connecting too?

    Actually demo data are installed from our site http://www.8theme.com.
    What did you mean saying “which url is the theme connecting too”?

    Hi Eva,

    my hoster ment that the firewall is blocking extern servers and they wanted a url for that, but I could import demo data I think, or is the theme options not connected to a server?

    Do you have other information that I could send my provider about that problem? Really ned to start working with my page soon!

    So it seems nothing has changed, since we added the https://www.8theme.com to the firewall :/

    If you have any other information or ideas on how to fix this please send them!
    Otherwise, I really hope to get a refund on this, cause its useless to me…

    ps: you should include that for other people, cause at least in austria the providers use firewalls for that matter 😉

    Hello,

    There are some functions that are referred to other server (for example demo content installation) and Firewall may block them.
    It has to be disabled in this case.

    okay, but just to clarify, did you edit something? or did the firewall do the trick of my provider?
    Not that I have to deal with the problem in the future again!?
