I just installed the latest theme version and the plugins and now so many things are wrong in my site that were not wrong before the update. I will revert back to the original and hope that you will check the issues with the theme update files…

    Hello,

It would be hugely helpful to us if you are able to indicate all problems in details. Simply stating something ‘many things are wrong’ isn’t helpful, and tells us nothing. PLEASE, be as specific as possible.
    Thanks in advance.

    Regards

Well, I’m ever so sorry to be so useless to you, but I was in a hurry to save my website from your coding so I didn’t use my time to do documenting for you.

Pictures of the products on my front page weren’t showing at all.
Top menu (after scrolling down) font was at least 50% larger than now.
Buttons in most places had changed colors so that you couldn’t see the text on it.
The left menu in the blog had disappeared and there was only a search field there.

This is what I remember. Will not install it again to do testing for you.

    Hello,

4.0 is major update, so you need to update not just theme but WC plugin too. Also, if you use child theme then child theme files should be updated according to new files.

Please, do the backup of your site and provide us FTP and admin panel access. We’ll help you with theme update.

Also, if you use CDN/server cache I would recommend to disable it and enable again when we finish the update, in other case it will cause the issue with old scripts.

    Regards

    Hello,

Sorry for the delay in answering.

You are using CDN or server cache and it causes some problems after theme update because old files/scripts are cached. We can’t switch to new version because of this. Please, disable CDN/server cache while we update the theme. You’ll be able to enable once we tell you that update is finished. Inform me once you disable CDN and we’ll continue.

    Regards

Sorry for my late reply. I didn’t receive email notification of reply.

I’ll let you know once it’s disabled. I just now asked my service provider to do it.

Two things are not fine at a glance:

    1) There used to be another black area above the current black area at the very top (ie. the one with login and cart) of each page. How do I create it back and add centered text to it?

    2) In the blog the left menu has disappeared (just like it did when I tried the update). How do I get the blog specific menus to show on the articles frontpage and in the blog posts? Now there is just the search.

    More info:

    1) “Left side top bar area” in the widgets has the content but it’s not visible at the very top of each page.

    2) “Blogin sivuvalikko” inthe widgets is what should be the left menu in all blog pages but it is now empty. I have the menus made but how to add them to this widget and this widget to the blog pages (only blog pages!)

How come the preview of some blog posts on page https://www.laatusuklaa.fi/category/9-50-10-00/ now show something like “was last modified: lokakuu 12th, 2017 by Jarkko Karhunen” and some (correctly) show trhe first words of the post?

    Hello,

    1) I have fixed the top bar structure that you changed. Check now.
    2) Glad to hear that.
    3) Fixed.

    3) almost…

It doesn’t show “was last modified: lokakuu 12th, 2017 by Jarkko Karhunen” anymore but it doesn’t show the first words of the post either like they should and the others do…
