    Hi,

I have just updated the theme for http://www.pollyshoes.com.au. I followed the ‘legenda’ youtube video exactly, which I have done before, but this time the website is completely broken. The only part of the website now displaying is the header.

I updated to the most recent version of WordPress prior to updating.

Please help as soon as possible.

    Kind regards,

    Jordan

Wow thank you for the fast response. That’s so strange, it does appear to be working fine now.

I have no idea why the changes took so long to come through, but doesn’t matter.

Thank you, I’m all set 🙂

    Hi Jack,

Sorry to bother you again, but I’m having a similar problem with a different website now.

I have done a full update on the site http://www.bluepyrenees.com.au, including wordpress, woocommerce, plugins and theme.

However, the revolution slider banners no longer work. Any ideas?

    Cheers,

    Jordan

    Hello @jrmcphan,

I have updated Revolution Slider plugin for you, but as I see you’ve updated the theme incorrectly because there are 2 IDStore themes available in Appearance > Themes. You must replace the current theme folder with the new version and not create multiple themes folder:
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/idstore/index.html#!/upgrade

Please reupdate the theme and create a back up of the files before.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi Eva,

Are you able to see the banners now as they are still on appearing for me?

I really don’t understand why this happens. I have followed the instructions and video to a tee. I click the overwrite all files button so I am really unsure why they are bundling………..

And when I look in my FTP there is only one ‘ID Store’ folder….

I’ve just reactivated the theme and the slider is working fine now.
Please check and clear browser cache before.

    Hi Eva,

Thank you for your help. However, the banners were working as you mentioned, but the rest of the website had broken. In particular the home page was all out of format, couldn’t read most of the text and the whole menu was broken. All the pages were showing up in the header…..

I’ve just had to restore the backup. Is there a way of fixing the banners without ruining the rest of the site please?

    Thank you for your patience.
