Hi – I have updated the WordPress framework of my site to the latest version, then WooCommerce and then I tried to update the theme to update the templates and it has all gone wrong and it won’t seem to work. At first I get the white page of nothing and now we have some parts back and some parts not working. Can someone please get in touch and the site is not working now.

    Hi

The theme hasn’t installed properly, the shop template is now all wrong, the testimonials are no longer showing on the HP, the WooCommerce plugin has not got a comoletr set if updated templates (check the status) the menu on the too of the page is wrong, in the admin I can’t access the theme options, images aren’t showing in the content pages, the products templates aren’t working … There is a heap that is not right after updating.

I noticed that when I copied all the files off, then one by one replaced them with the new updated framework, the file “init.php” seems to stop the site and make it all white as it is again.

Do you have any ETA on a fix? As customers are calling as they can’t register warranties or buy products.

    Hello,

A blank page was caused by the really simple captcha plugin.
But we can’t log in to the admin panel with your credentials. Please provide us with them as well.

    Regards,
    Robert Hall.

    Hello,

We have renamed Really Simple CAPTCHA folder to “really-simple-captcha_old” in the “plugins” directory via FTP.
You can rename it back or delete the plugin.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

Hi – thanks for bringing the site back. The last issue I now have is the shop display and single page templates don’t seem to be displaying correctly, can you take a look. the layout of each of the templates seems to be not working?
http://diamondfusion.co.nz/shop/ – layout is all weird and I can’t seem to influence it in the admin anywhere.
http://diamondfusion.co.nz/product/clear-fusion-v-diy-shower-kit/ – single product template is also not diplaying correctly.

    thanks
    simon.

    Hello,

Seems there is some conflict between the theme and WordPress.
We recommend you to reinstall the latest version of WordPress and install the theme on a clear CMS.
Don’t forget to create a back up of your files and database.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi Eva

It is not fixed, the shop is still not correct in Chrome but is ok in Firefox / IE. So that would be a template issue would it not?

    Thanks
    Simon

    Hello,

I’ve disabled “Template Debug Mode” in Woocommerce > System Status > Tools tab.
    Please check Shop page now.

I had the same problem and removed really simple captcha, which fixed the site going down. But there was still something wrong in Chrome. Every page (even admin section) just kept loading… the website was essentially broken on Chrome. And the “add to cart” on product pages didn’t work (didn’t add to cart). The website works fine in Firefox and Safari, but had problems in Chrome. GOOD NEWS: I fixed that issue by disabling a plugin “Facebook conversion tracking”… However, the only thing I can’t figure out is why the buttons “Apply Coupon” & “Update Cart” is missing, and only shows text links. Same happens on the checkout page where the “Login” and the “Proceed to Paypal” buttons are missing, instead only text links with gray highlight. How can we fix this? I’ve included admin info in the private content area. Thank you for your help.

    Hello @armenhammer72,

I’ve checked your site on Chrome and Firefox browsers and it’s working fine:

“Add to Cart” button is also working. What problems are you experiencing with the button?

    Thank you.

And in addition to the buttons/css issue, do you have any idea why the arrows for the quantity are not on the same line?

    Hello @armenhammer72,

One of your plugins is causing the issue with the buttons. I disabled all 3rd-party plugins and the buttons were shown fine. Please deactivate the plugins one by one to find out what is making a conflict.

    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
