Theme update option is not visible and available updates

1. I could not find anywhere option to update the theme. Initially I had updated the theme without uploading (i.e. online via update option) but now I could not see that update button anymore.

Please let me know how do I update the theme.

2. in WordPress Dashboard, update shows 10 updates:
Contact Form 7
Elementor
MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress
WC Marketplace
WooCommerce
YITH WooCommerce Wishlist

From the above, which ones should I update regularly?
In above updates, is there any chance of compatibility issue with Xstore theme if I do updates regularly?

Hello,

1/ Renaming of the parent theme folder causes issues with auto-update. You can re-name the theme back and then update, or update the theme manually – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/
2/ Follow this article to update plugins – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/plugins-update/

Please look at the above link which shows the folders under wp-content/themes

Originally there was only xstore folder but I believe white label plugin of xstore created another child theme with folder freshcook.

Can we simply deactivate / delete child theme from wp-admin?
How do sort it out?

Hello,

I see that XStore theme is up to date https://prnt.sc/1rm5xti So, you won’t see any update message till we release the new update. It’s ok that child theme folder name is freshcook.
