Are there detailed instructions on how to update the theme version and plugin versions? Do I need to install the royal-child folder as well? I would like to learn how to do this myself so I don’t need to keep asking support to do so.

    Thank you,
    kjhawayek

I figured out how to update themes and plugins. But please answer question regarding royal-child-theme. Also please provide update 2.9.12 for Masterslider.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

If you’re going to modify some files in the theme you need use child theme not to lose changes after the theme update. More information you can read here:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

We’ll update MasterSlider soon and you’ll be able to download it from this link:
    https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/

    Sorry for inconveniences.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

When you say “modify some files” does this include changes to the custom.css file? I haven’t done any direct modifications to any files other than placing specific css rules inside the custom.css file. Will I lose these on the update that is available now?

Please advise how to proceed with the recent royal theme update

I’ll await updating until I hear from someone.

    Hello,

The changes you made in custom.css file won’t be lost.
    That file won’t be overwritten.
You can update the theme but always create a back up before each update.

    Thank you.

Thank you. Updated successfully. I have an issue with wanting to adjust something on the home page. I made a short vide0 of it, can you tell me what thread I should direct this query to?

Please add following code in custom.css file.

    padding:0;
