Hello hello,
I’m here again. My website is half Dutch and half Englisch.
I try to translate my website with poedit but it does not work…
regards,
Danique
Hello,
Could you please specify what exactly you can’t translate?
Regards,
Jack Richardson
Oh, I don’t have Visual Compose at Static Blocks. Look documentation.
Hay Jack Richardson,
like this “cart” – “Check out” – “View cart” – “Proceed to checkout”
Thanks in advance!
Danique
Hello,
Sorry, but there is a bug with translation in our theme. You need translate some words in the theme files.
Please provide us with the links where you can’t translate some words and we’ll guide you what files to edit.
Concerning Visual Composer, go to Settings > Visual Composer > General Settings tab and select Content types you want Visual Composer editor to be displayed on.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Hello,
I also have a problem with the translation of my website http://www.colors2impress.nl
It has to be in dutch but the chart, checkout and order buttons are still in English. Is there a way I can fix it? the woo commerce NL plugin doesn’t work.
Maybe you can have a look?
Hello Ernstjandevries,
How to translate the language you can read in documentation:
https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/#!/how_to_translate
About WooCommerce question, is a bit unclear for us. Could you please clarify us with more details?

Hello @Ernstjandevries,
Your site is under maintenance mode and we’re unable to view it. Could you please provide us with the wp-admin credentials?
Also please show us the links where some words can’t be translated.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Hi Eva,
The WP admin is in the privat content.
My whole site is in dutch but the checkout and cart are still in English and I can’t change it. Can you have a look for me? The site is also very slow.
Ernst
Hello @Ernstjandevries,
Have you translated the files in /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/i18n/languages directory as well?
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Hi Eva,
Should I do this al by my self? Or is there a plugin for this?
Ernst
Hello,
It is necessary to do it manually. You can use http://poedit.net/ to translate your .po files.
Regards,
Jack Richardson
Hi Jack,
I did this already and the dutch translation is good in the .Po files. But on my site the checkout is still in English
Hi Jack,
I found the problem. The text is in the private content. This are the words that I need to put in Dutch. Can i translate them is the cart.php file and update the file? Price should be prijs, and quantity should be aantallen.
Hello,
As we can see you didn’t make theme translation (at /webspace/siteapps/WordPress-188166/htdocs/wp-content/themes/legenda/languages). Please rename default.po file and translate it as described in our documentation: https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/#!/how_to_translate.
Regards,
Jack Richardson
Thanks I will do that!
You’re welcome!
Regards,
Jack Richardson
