Translate certain terms on cart and checkout pages

Hi,
There are some terms on cart and checkout pages whose translation I can’t locate (they are not in the .po theme file).

Could you advise how I can translate them?

Hello,

Please sync translation of XStore theme, Core and WooCommerce plugins – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/translation-files-update/ Then try to find and translate mentioned strings.
or provide temporary wp-admin access, so we can take a closer look.

Hi, I updated the po and mo files per your instructions, but I still can’t see the translation of these specific terms in the website, although they seem to be translated in the po file.

The issue was caused by the “Toggle Fuzzy” setting for the “Proceed to checkout” button translation, which has now been disabled. Hi, after theme update, I again can’t see the translations of “Shopping Cart” and “Proceed to checkout”.

Hello, Vivi,

1/ Translation files of the theme should be placed in /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder,
plugins, like Core plugin, in /wp-content/languages/plugins folder, then you will not lose translation after updates.

2/ Also, you need to rename the XStore translation file https://prnt.sc/pU_ceotxhwIY to xstore-el.po

3/ There is no translation for the XStore Core plugin https://prnt.sc/gzWsQLmNR79l , so you need to create it https://youtu.be/Ogeqaa4SZV0?t=130

4/ After every update, you need to synchronize translation – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/translation-files-update/ Sometimes new strings are added, and only after synchronization, you’ll be able to translate new strings or strings that were changed.

5/ This translation file for WC is unuseful – https://prnt.sc/bfWq1UECbBBo , so you can delete it.
