After an update there are some new strings that are not translated in woocommerce checkout and account row. These seem to be appear in English during the checkout:

    Update cart
    Shipping
I have read and agree to the website %s

The last one I couldn’t even find from the theme’s .pot file. If I make changes in directly to woocommerce files they don’t show on page.

    Hello,

Have you tried to synchronize translation files?
Button Sync (Loco Translate plugin http://prntscr.com/glemdq) allows you to synchronize your translation file with updated pot file. It means if we made any changes in template files that may affect transaltion or we added new string for the translation and you updated theme you need to synchronize your translation with updated files. Only after synchronization, you’ll be able to translate new strings or strings that were changed.
Also, don’t forget to backup all the files before any update.

    Regards

Originally I have translated the legenda.pot file with poedit, but now I added Loco plugin and synchronized my translated fi.po file.
    The strings:
    Shipping
I have read and agree to the website %s
    are still not there.

Update cart is still not getting translated even though it is translated in loco strings. Also, why isn’t the strings getting translated by adding .mo/.po files (that I have created with poedit) to the woocommerce language folder? Shouldn’t it be the same as the files created by loco translate?

Loco Translate uses same files, I am not sure why you faced the problem with translation it via poedit.
“Update cart” – you need to translate via translation files of theme.
Also, you use translations files from wp-content/themes/legenda/languages folder, but I would recommend you to transfer these files to /wp-content/languages/themes folder, save the files with your language name and legenda theme suffix, e.g legenda-fi.po. Read more https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/ (the same for the legenda theme).

I did the translation to the theme files but no effect both on loco and poedit.

I now deleted loco translate to see how things work without it but weirdly the woocommerce .mo and .po files have an error message popping up saying

“Copying files from remote side failed.
Can’t open woocommerce-fi_FI.po: No such file or directory”

but still these files are working on front-end..

I do not see a problem with it on my test site even via poedit http://prntscr.com/jrkr1g
Can’t you find “Update cart” or translation doesn’t apply?

    Hello,

    Have you synchronized translation? http://prntscr.com/k2gjd1
Wp-admin access, that you provided above, is incorrect, so I can’t check the problem more deeply.

I don’t know how to synchronize translations manually, as I’m not using loco translate but poedit.

Also, on my dashboard their is warning “Kauppa ei näyttäisi käyttävän suojattua yhteyttä. Suosittelemme että koko sivusto toimii suojatun HTTPS-yhteyden kautta jotta asiakkaiden tiedot ovat turvassa. Lisätietoja täällä.” which means my shop pages aren’t using https, but http. How can I change this?

    Here’s my wp-admin:
