Translated Footer error – please select static block for the widget

Dear Support,

I am contacting you because I have noticed that suddenly, I am encountering an issue with a translated footer.

For one of my translated languages “Arabic” i faced a duplicated footer. The footer of the Arabic translation was appearing twice, one on top of each other.
I then deleted the widget and recreated it again. The duplication was then solved however, I now have an error message saying “please select static block for the widget” that I cannot get rid of:

Could you please help me to fix the issue?

We have removed the empty widget or select static blocks from the Appearance > Widgets > Static Blocks section, which has resolved the issue.
