I’m having more than a fair share of problems with the translated main menu, among which there’s one I cant figure out:

My menus, EN and ES, are perfectly in sync as you can see in this screenshot but the image wont display in Spanish…

    Please help. Thanks

Ok, if you think this is necessary…. here you have it.

FULL WIDTH ENGLISH MENU and FULL WIDTH SPANISH MENU

Hope it is now clear enough for you.

    Thanks

    Hello,

You don’t have image url written in the menu. You should write image path in the description and URL fields as written in our documentation:
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/primary_menu

    Thank you.

Eva, I have read extensively your documentation, along with thoroughly querying the forums, BEFORE I ever asked for support.

I had tried with adding the link in the translated image menu item and no image was displayed.

So I figured, maybe, WPML Media translation wants to handle it, if you follow what I am saying…

So, I removed the link in the translated image menu item and translated the image but still did not work.

FYI, I placed the link again but still no image!!! See here IMAGE MENU ITEM

So, please, get me a straight answer with a viable solution, if you will….

    Thank you

    Hello,

I’ve just checked the Spanish menu in wp-admin panel and description for image subitem is still empty.

I’ve tried to add the link of the image and got this error:
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 89128960) (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /homepages/31/d531687296/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/lib/xml2array.php on line 34

Please contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase memory limit.
    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

After all, I finally confirmed the reason why and found a (low-tech) fix for the image in translated full width menu .

The memory errors were because of a Woocommerce Multilingual Plugin and WPML String Translation conflict.

Temporarily disabling String Translation allows to edit the Spanish menu without a itch. Once done, the plugins can be re-enabled.

That’s it. I am still waiting to settle the menu alignment, but that seems to be for another day…

    Thanks.
