I’m trying to translate my site into Finnish, but some strings are still in English even though Woocommerce is 100% translated to my language.
Missing strings are e.g. Billing address, your account, cart and so on. They are translated in Woocommerce .po-file, but they don’t show up. Is this some conflict between WC and Legenda? Maybe Legenda is overriding WC translations? If so, what can I do about it?
Hello,
Please provide us with wp-admin and FTP credentials in Private Content.
Regards,
Robert Hall

Everything is ok now, can i ask you how you did it (for the future)? When i update woocommerce the changes will be lost? or when i update the theme?
Hello @giorgos,
Changes won’t be lost.
I updated theme translation files in wp-content/themes/legenda/languages directory as described here http://betterwp.net/wordpress-tips/create-pot-file-using-poedit./ (section “Updating a .po (and .mo) file”).
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Hi Jack,
Have you done the same updates to my site as well? Or is there something I should do?
Hello @MinnaN,
Please provide FTP credentials.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Here are the FTP credentials.
Thanks in advance!
Hello @MinnaN,
As I see a lot of strings aren’t translated in wp-content/themes/legenda/languages/legenda-fi_FI.po file. Please translate them.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
I’ve translated some of them to try if the translation works, but they don’t show up.
Is the .po file in the correct folder?
BR,
Minna
Can you, please, check if any of the strings I’ve translated are showing up?
Thanks!
Hello @MinnaN,
Please provide WP admin credentials.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Hi Eva,
I’ll create a temporary user account for that. Can you provide me your email?
BR,
Minna
Hello @MinnaN,
You can use any email address. We just need username and password.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Ok, there you go.
Hello @MinnaN,
Sorry for a delay.
We have updated translation files. Please check your site now.

Hello Jack,
I also need to translate my Legenda eshop into Greek language. Can you please provide me the greek po files? If you upload them by yourself (as you did with giorgos) it will be great.
Thank you in advance.
Nikos
Hello @nikos,
We don’t have Greek translation files. You have to translate the theme yourself as described in the documentation https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/#!/how_to_translate
We didn’t upload greek po files for the client giorgos, we just updated his own files.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Hi,
Thanks for the translation file. It fixed almost all the untranslated strings. However, there are still a couple stubborn ones that are not translated: http://brelock.fi/kauppa/iso-brelock-keltainen/
– In product details page: Product information
– In product details page: Product code
– In upper menu bar cart: items for
– In cart preview popup: Qty
Can you help, thanks?
BR, Minna
Hello @MinnaN,
Translation has been fixed.
