If I active Polylang plugin the website change the mainpage to a blog..is it wrong?

Hello,

If you want to create the multilingual site you can use either WPML plugin (paid plugin) or Polylang, qTranslate (free plugins).

Follow plugin documentation if you chose Polylang https://polylang.wordpress.com/documentation/

Let me know if everything works fine with default WP theme but the problem appears once you activate XStore theme. Because we provide support for issues related strictly to our theme.

Mi question is if there is any problem of compatibility between my demo and polylang and if the problem fix it choosing another demo…do you know what I mean?

Hello,

XStore theme (no matter what version you use) is compatible with Polylang. In case you face any compatibility issues with our theme (I mean if the problem appears only when XStore theme is activated and everything works fine with default WP theme) then just report us and we’ll fix them.

I have marked HOME DEFAULT RED like front page (in reading settings)…and it works…but if I active polylang..ooops!!! the home of website is the blog….

Hello,

I understand you. But once you marked HOME DEFAULT RED like front page go to Appearance > Themes and enable default WP theme – Storefront or Twenty Seventeen. After that enable Polylang and check if your problem persists only when XStore theme is activated or with default WP theme too.

Hello Olga..you’re right…the problem persist with the other theme when I active polylang…Should I forget it and search another language plugin?

Hello,

You can contact plugin author and ask for help, check the plugin documentation. If you don’t get help from them you may try qTranslate plugin or WPML plugin.
