Translation issues - by equality - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    Hello,
    i have the latest version of theme and Woocommerce and there are some untranslated words.

    Hello,after seeing some things in your forum about my issue i have updated the woocommerce folder in your theme,but the issues there was.
    So,i have updated also from woocommerce plugin
    royal/woocommerce/checkout/form-billing.php
    royal/woocommerce/checkout/form-shipping.php
    royal/woocommerce/myaccount/form-edit-address.php
    royal/woocommerce/cart/cart.php
    The translation issues are fixed.Can you please tell me if i did the right?
    I still have the problem with review.
    Can you please tell me how fix it?

    Hello,

    Please, do not replace woocommerce files in our theme from the plugin folder.
    The wp-admin credentials are incorrect. Please check.

    Hello,sorry you were right,the wp-admin credentials are incorrect.I send you new ones.
    Is a multisite.
    I have replaced the woocommerce files in theme from the plugin folder first because i have updated the woocommerce folder from the latest version of theme and does not worked and second because there was a ticket in your forum that said these files need updating from plugin.
    if it was wrong,can you please fix it and check if the translation issues are resolved?
    The last question for reviews is that in previous version of theme at least,there was beside of review’s field a dropdown menu with the words “rate,average,not that bad,very poor” that still exists on po.file but does not appear.

    All those strings are under the template file royal.pot, can you try to translate that? Did you do all those steps? https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/beginners

    Hello,
    like i said all those strings are already translated on royal.pot but they remained untranslatable until i did the update on woocommerce folder of theme.
    Can you please check if i did the right update since you told me that i should not replace woocommerce files in your theme from the plugin folder?
    Also can you please tell me what happens with reviews?
    All these strings are translated on po.file

    Hi,

    Can you undo the changes, we already forward the woocommerce files outdated issues to our developers, they will fix that in the next version of the theme. If you want to remove those error for now just change the version number in the top of the file and see that fixes the issue and also the translated strings.

    Hi,

    Can you check the FTP details, I tried to login but it fails, if you pass the FTP I will fix the woocommerce template errors. I tried to login to the WP Admin and it login but can’t take to the Dashboard, can you give the Dashboard URL.

    Hi,

    Now FTP is working, how to enter in to the website’s Dashboard, without that I can’t able to fix it. All I see is this, http://take.ms/SKT8l if I tried yoursite.com/wp-admin it redirects me to the same page, can’t able to enter in to the website.

    Can you please try with these credentials?

    In internet explorer i can’t make registration.
    In firefox works.Also i don’t receive like admin email that a user is registrated.

    I’ve checked the registration on your site in internet explorer and seems it works fine (you can delete test users which were created). What browser version do you use?

    The problem for registration still exists for me.
    Also,for the users you have created i have not received email.
    The problem with translation issues did you see it?
    You did something with woocommerce files?

    Hello,

    Oh, I see, to fix registration please edit royal/framework/theme-functions.php and change this code https://prnt.sc/fsrpw9 to https://prnt.sc/fsrq67. It will be fixed in new theme update also.
    The theme does not have the function to send email to you after new registration. It requires additional customization. Only new users get letter about account creation.
    I do not see translation issue on your site now. Also, we did nothing with your files.

    Ok,the problem with registration has been fixed.
    Concerning the email in the administrator after registration,i have chosen in network settings-Subscription Notification,the option “Send an informative email to the network administrator whenever a new site and / or user account is created”.So,how you tell me that does not exist the function to send email?
    Concerning the translation issues,can you please read the replies above?
    I had some untranslated words(see reply #166581) and i have updated from woocommerce plugin these:
    royal/woocommerce/checkout/form-billing.php
    royal/woocommerce/checkout/form-shipping.php
    royal/woocommerce/myaccount/form-edit-address.php
    royal/woocommerce/cart/cart.php
    and everything is ok now.But your partner told me that it was wrong and i should undo the changes and change the version number in the top of the file.(replies #166760 and #166856)
    So,i don’t understand what should i do,and which is the version number in the top?
    Can you please check woocommerce folder in your theme?

    Hi,

    For email not sending, try install the Contact Form 7 and try it sends email or not. If that didn’t send try configure your SMTP, https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/ it is not a theme feature though, it is WordPress default feature.

    For other things I said, don’t do that, because the issue is solved now. And it will be updated in the future versions.

    So,i leave the files of woocommerce plugin on the woocommerce folder of theme and the next days it comes update?
    For reviews what should i do?

    Hello,

    You can leave these files if it doesn’t create problem in theme functionality on your site. But before the next theme update, delete “woocommerce” folder, it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
    Then synchronize translation files after update the theme. Button Sync (Loco Translate plugin https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/) allows you to synchronize your translation file with updated pot file. It means if we made any changes in template files that may affect transaltion or we added new string for the translation and you updated theme you need to synchronize your translation with updated files. Only after synchronization you’ll be able to translate new strings or strings that were changed. You may lose only strings that were changed.
    Also, don’t forget to backup all the files before any update.
