Hi,

I’m almost done with the modification of the webpage based on xstore theme (using niche market 02).

The thing is that I was suprised about a lot of english phrases which were not translated into polish language.

I’ve found your post with polish language pack but it’s 4th May 2020.
Does the xstore niche market 02 theme already include this pack or I have to update it?

Besides that how do I translate the rest of the words, phrases?
Even if I don’t want to be it multilanguage, but just fully translated into polish

Hello,

Thanks for using our theme.

Please read this article – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/ and use Loco Transalte plugin.

Download xstore-pl_PL.mo file from this page – https://github.com/OlgaBarlow/Translation-of-Xstore-theme/blob/master/Xstore/pl_PL/xstore-pl_PL.mo and upload it into /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder via FTP. Go to Loco Translate > Themes > your language > open the translation (.po file will be generated automatically) and click on Sync button. Once translation will be synchronized, you need to add translation for untranslated strings manually and Save changes.

Do not forget about Core plugin. Loco translate > Plugins > XStore Core > New language > Choose a language + Choose a location – System > start translating.

Didn’t work – I got 0% translation

After uploading xstore-pl_PL.mo file via FTP then I go to Loco Translation -> Themes -> I choose Xstore or Xstore Child? I can add the language only to xstore, becuase xstore child says there is no template.

While adding the language to xstore I choose “system” or user? I went with system.

After this I opened the translation, clicked sync and still 0%.

Hello,

XStore (parent theme). If you uploaded files into the correct folder, you do not need to add language, it will be already shown in the Loco Translate.
Please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access, so we can assist you.

I have one more question.
How do I run the multilanguage store now?
To let the customers choose english/polish.

Hello,

You need to install additional plugin to create multilingual site. For example WPML, or Polylang, or qTranslate etc https://colorlib.com/wp/wordpress-multilingual-plugins/ .

Hope it’s the last question – does the niche market 02 theme got DK (Danish) translation? If yes, what’s the edit % percentage of the theme and core?

We have translation for theme only (7%) for this language. If you want I can send you translation to your email.
