    Hello,

    1. The translations are not working. I have translated the theme, plugins, everything, but most of them don’t work.

In the debug file, I found these errors related to the translation:

[20-Dec-2024 19:11:05 UTC] PHP Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the elementor-pro domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in [website path]/functions.php on line 6114

    2. Question: If I have the child theme installed and the theme gets a new update, will updating it cause me to lose the code written in the child theme or any other modifications? (I attached 2 images)

    3. I have these errors/warnings from WordPress. Do they affect anything?

    Best regards,
    Octavian

    5. After migrating the site from staging to live, I see a prompt to activate Elementor Pro, but the theme has the PRO Elements plugin, so I shouldn’t need to activate anything.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please post different questions via separate topics https://www.8theme.com/forums/xstore-wordpress-support-forum/ to prevent misunderstanding.

1.1/ It seems that the issue is related to the WordPress update (from 6.7). You may either downgrade to a previous version or contact support of the Elementor plugin.

    1.2/ https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/
Could you please provide temporary wp-admin access? We will check your settings for translations.
To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

2/ Updating the parent theme does not result in the loss of your code in the child theme.

Additionally, please read this article – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/your-theme-contains-outdated-copies-of-some-woocommerce-template-files/

3/ This is shown https://prnt.sc/oK-gP2kxknNq because the Cart, Checkout, and My account pages use Elementor instead of default shortcodes. You may simply disregard this notification.

About Terms and Conditions page you can read here – https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-pages/

4/ XStore Builders > Single product page with elementor > edit template > Add to cart settings.

5/ Yes, you can ignore this.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team
