Two problems with the template - by jardeniadirect

Hi, I’m trying to make an Ecommerce with this template and I have some questions I hope you can answer. First of all, the URL is: http://directoatufloristeria.com/

1. I’m trying to put in the menu 2 different product cattegories but when I click there’s a 404 error. I checked all the products and their cattegories and tags are well done. Maybe it’s a problem with WooCommerce, because if I try to do it with product tags I have the same 404 error.

2. I want to put on the homepage two different rows with products, but in the template options it’s said that if you want to have this products on your homepage you need to put this products with the ‘new’ label. I can’t understand why if in your live preview template you have ‘Featured Products’ and ‘Latest Products’ in two different rows without the ‘new’ label.

Thank you so much. I hope I’ll be able to make an awesome Ecommerce, we want something really simple and this template is amazing to do that. If it works.

Hello,
1) Check if you have this issue only with our theme or with default theme too. In case issue is present only with our theme, provide admin panel and FTP accesses in Private Content.
2) To add Featured and Latest products sliders on home page:
– mark necessary products as featured and new ones http://support.8theme.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/9/12/how-to-mark-products-as-featured-and-new-ones
– edit your home page and add following shortcodes

[etheme_featured] [etheme_new title="Latest Products" ]

Thank you so much, I didn’t see the star next to the products! About the problem with the product cattegory, I changed the template and the problem still remains. If you don’t mind, I’ll give you access to our WordPress panel. Thanks so much. This template is awesome, really clean.

If the problem persists with default theme it means that something is wrong with your WP or WooCommerce settings. We are sorry, but we provide support only for issues related strictly to our theme.

Sorry, I ment the problem is not happening with the WordPress templates. It was my mistake. Can you have access and try to fix this, please?

I’ve made some changes to Permalinks in admin panel > Settings. Please check if the categories are displayed correctly.
