    Hi,

I have again the same problem I had with the last update (3rd Feb). I am unable to update it to V. 7.2.5.

For the last update, I was able to update ok on my staging site, but not live site. This time I cannot update it on either site. These are the errors:

    Theme
An error occurred while updating XStore: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    Xstore Core
Update failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

I have tried deactivating the theme and re-activating as per your instructions on my staging site but still doesn’t work.

Last time you manually updated it for me but if this happens every time you release an update, is there a more permanent solution to stop this happening? I never had the problem before, not until the last update. Can you help me with this please. Thanks, Debbie

    Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

With respect to your query here, kindly share with us a valid staging site link so that we can have a closer look into this. The staging site link you previously shared does not seem accessible.

I look forward to your reply.

    Kind Regards

If I give you the staging site login, I will also give live site login because whatever the problem is, it may need fixing on both sites. It is the same error on both. Hope that is okay.

    Hello,

Could you, please, provide us with FTP access to your staging site, please?

Hi, I notice today that the theme is not showing at all under ‘updates’ / ‘themes’. It has disappeared, is someone working on it? http://www.swankypins.co.uk

The staging site – staging.swankypins.co.uk is still showing the theme but hasn’t been updated.

    Hello,

We have updated production site and you should not face issue with next update if you don’t restore backups.

To be able to update staging go to XStore > Welcome > deactivate and activate theme using your purchase code and then go to Dashboard > Updates > click Check again link https://prnt.sc/yygl09
You may try to update theme after that.

Thank you for your help, I have just updated the staging site and this one worked okay.

However, now the theme has disappeared from both production and staging sites. When checking under Dashboard/Updates under ‘themes’, neither site shows the Xstore theme. If it does not appear then how will I be able to update it next time? Debbie

    Hello,

    You’re welcome!
Once the next theme update will be released, the theme will appear in Dashboard > Updates.

    Regards
