Hi,
I would like to know how to prevent unavailable product sizes from being selectable as an option to add to cart.
Currently, when a visitor to my website selects a product with an unavailable size, they can add it to the cart. However, they then receive a message that the product is out of stock and cannot be ordered.
I would like to change this so that the visitor cannot add an unavailable product to the cart at all.
How can I do this?
Thank you,
Diana
Hello, @Diana Nikolova,
We appreciate your reaching out to us and for choosing XStore for your needs.
We understand you require assistance with displaying product variations that are currently out of stock. We are pleased to inform you that such variations can be presented as shown in the following examples:
This display is possible using Xstore variation swatches, provided that the “Hide out of stock products from catalog” option is activated within the WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory section of your dashboard.
For further clarification and support, we suggest viewing our instructional video on variation swatches, which can be found here: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/video-tutotials/variation-swatches/. We trust you will find this resource to be informative and useful.
Should you have any further inquiries or require additional assistance, please feel free to contact our support team. We are committed to providing you with the support you need.
Warm regards,

“Hide out of stock products from catalog” – option in active, but the product with quantity 0 is shown like in stock
Hello, @Diana Nikolova,
Thank you for your response.
1/ Please record a video of the problem for a better understanding. Upload it on a filesharing service, for example – https://wetransfer.com/ , and provide us with URL.
2/ Furthermore, we would appreciate it if you could create temporary wp-admin access and share the details via the private content area. This will allow us to review your settings and better understand the issue at hand.
We kindly recommend that you take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.
Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best Regards,
The 8Theme Team
