The update cart button and the remove from cart “x” are not working on the Cart page.
Any suggestions?
Hello,
What theme version are you using?
As I see products on your Shop page are displayed incorrectly.
You should delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/xmarket/ and reupload it from the theme package.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
We are running XMarket 2.1.
Please elaborate about the pictures on the Shop Page and what should be done.
Has the theme packege been updated with the lastest WC templates?
Hello,
Please provide FTP and WP Dashboard credentials.
May we update the theme for you?
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
thank you very much!
Hello,
Sorry for a delay.
I’ve updated the theme for you, but problem persists.
After investigation I found that it’s caused by your modifications in the child theme. I see there is “woocommerce” folder. What files are there? Are they from Woocommerce plugin folder or from “woocommerce” theme folder? If you remove this folder from child theme, the site works fine.
Let us know what changes you made in that folder.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
I removed the folder as you suggested.
The update button works on an individual product page, but does not work on the cart page.
I can get it to work if i update the cart and then refresh the page. I’m using Firefox.
I must also refresh to get the remove button to work also.
The same goes for Chrome. Edge is even worse
Hello,
This bug was fixed in the version 2.2.1. Please update the Xmarket theme to this version.
Thank you.
Let us know the result then.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
How is the best way to update as I have some custom code in the theme?
Hello,
Have you edited original theme files or used child theme?
If the changes were made in child theme, then you can update parent theme as described in the video:
(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).
Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
