Hi, I recently tried to update my legenda template on http://www.lagendadimammabea.com/. I followed the instructions for the update via FTP but, at the end of the update process, all the posts disappeared from the homepage (I’m using the TIMELINE layout) and were substituted by the message “LOAD MORE POST”.
So at the moment I have to use the old 2.9.2 version. Is there any way to solve this problem?
Hello,
When you updated the theme go to Theme Options > Blog Layout > Excerpt length (words) and set the number of words you want to display.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Hi Jack, I followed your instructions, I set the Excerpt length to 200 but the post didn’t appear on the homepage anyway, I always got only the box with the message LOAD MORE POST.
I noticed that every time I tried to update the theme my posts just appeared for a second and then disappeared again.
Hello,
As I see posts are shown on home page http://storage1.static.itmages.com/i/16/1101/h_1478010471_3312847_6ed1cbdcab.jpeg
Please clarify how to replicate the issue.
Also provide WP Dashboard credentials in Private Content.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Correct Jack, the post are shown because I reinstalled version 2.9.2, always via FTP.
After receiving your first answer I tried the update following your instructions, but after the unsuccessful result I get back to 2.9.2
I can try to reinstall version 3.0.3 if you want.
Hello,
May we install version 3.0.3 for you?
Please provide FTP credentials as well.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
It’s ok for me. I’ve already made a backup of 2.9.2 version with the modified css, and also a database backup.
You can find the FTP credentials in PRIVATE CONTENT.
Hello,
I’ve updated the theme and set Excerpt length (words) in Theme Options. Clear browser cache and check front page now.

Eva Kemp.
Everything works fine.
Thank you
