Update from 5.4 version makes me lose the previous design

Hi!

My client has an old version of the Theme. I am updating from 5.4 version, however when I update theme and core on my stage website (attached on private) I lose all the previous settings and design.

Can I make the update without losing all the previous design?

Hello,

We made a lot of changes from the version you used. I have changed header styles and footer styles to suit your production. Check now, please.

We need to make some changes in the mega menu but we can’t save changes because of max input vars limit. So, contact your hosting provider to increase the max input vars limit and reply back. We’ll finish the mega menu adjustment.
Let me know if you need to fix anything else on the staging site.

I have changed the php settings to fit your requirements. I only need to know how to delete the “hot”, and “new” labels at the menu, where can I find this option?

Hello,

Go to Appearance > Menus > edit the menu item settings and unselect the menu label option https://prnt.sc/236e34w
