hello, I made an update for the theme and I observed that the theme did not take into account the translation already done
Hello,
Make sure that you translated both XStore theme and XStore core plugin https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/ and that your translation files are up to date https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/translation-files-update/
Regards
hello, you may have misunderstood me, I have already done a translation but during the update the theme deleted it.
Is there a way to recover my translation?
concerning the 2nd question, is it every time I update I should translate or configure the translation?
Hello,
I suppose that you placed translation to the author directory instead of the System or Custom https://prnt.sc/k9xbX-RwsuMQ . That’s why it was removed after theme/plugin update. You can recover that only if you have backup of your file.
You don’t need to translate it every time after the update if you place files in to correct directory as mentioned in the docs https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/
Regards
