    My site https://www.laatusuklaa.fi would require updating to WooCommerce 3.x (now 2.6.14) and to my understanding that also requires an update to the Royal theme and all that it requires. I remember you having such a (paid) service but I can’t find it anymore. Could some contact me with a quote/more info?

    Hello,

    We do not have this service now. But we can help you update theme and woocommerce.
    Please follow instructions:
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/installation_upgrade
    Also, update all required plugins: https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ and woocommerce.
    Before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/royal/ to avoid problems with old files (it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package).
    Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process!
    You need to enter your purchase code to activate the theme and skip Setup Wizard.

    Regards

    So, I did the update, but it hasn’t gone well (as I suspected). I followed the instructions you linked but since they haven’t been updated for a while, not everything in real life is like in the update instructions.

    I updated the theme via FTP. I updated WooCommerce. Still my site shows I’m using theme version 2.8 and it’s not asking for any activation even after I went to theme options and saved changes like instructed.

    I’m so pissed of about this. I think I should just revert back to the old Woo and theme and continue with those. At least they worked!

    Hi and thank you.

    I also just received word that the mobile optimization for the old theme version is not good, so hopefully this new one is better that way as well 🙂

    I do have a full backup of my site, theme options, and DB.

    You can do the update any time you like starting now. Hopefully I’ll be notified once done?

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

    I’ve updated theme and woocommerce, but you also need update all required plugins.
    To update free plugins just click on update link from your Dashboard (Plugins > Installed Plugins).
    To update premium plugins, connect to your server using FTP. Copy extracted plugins folders into wp-content/plugins/ . The latest versions of plugins you can find here.
    Also, I’ve synchronized your translations. Only after synchronization, you’ll be able to translate new strings or strings that were changed. You lost only strings that were changed.
    Also you need re-upload product images from .png format into .jpg.

    Please follow these recommendations. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions.

    Regards

    Thank you!

    What do you mean by “you need re-upload product images from .png format into .jpg.”? The .PNG images seem to work fine as before.

    What happened to the menu that appears when I scroll down the page. The text has disappeared from there 🙂

    You’re welcome!
    Menu – fixed.
    On single product page, you may see this problem http://prntscr.com/gmm3j7 to solve it, at first update all required plugins if this won’t help, try to upload product image in .jpg format.

    After the update the product images on single product pages didn’t load, so I made whole new JPG-files of all and uploaded them. Still the images aren’t loading. I did update all required plugins as well.

    Another thing that happened is that on the shop page https://www.laatusuklaa.fi/kauppa/ the “add to wishlist” text on each product is now grey and thus almost invisible. It used and should be white (hover golden). What CSS changes this?

    Hello,

    Please re-check plugins, for example, Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer v 3.16.17 and Visual Composer v 5.3 – https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/page/2/

    Now I updated all the available plugins via FTP but no change in the problem.

    In console on your site I see this error http://prntscr.com/gmxdxe so please read this article https://docs.brainstormforce.com/how-to-create-google-api-key-in-order-to-make-the-google-map-element-work/ and add API keys in Dashboard->Ultimate->Google Maps.
    If it won’t help try to disable 3-rd party plugins (means the plugins that are not included in the theme package are not in the list of required plugins) and then check the problem.
    To solve wishlist issue add this code in Custom css:

    .footer-product .yith-wcwl-add-button a {
        color: white;
    }

    Didn’t even know I hab anything to do with Google Maps on my site as I’ve not installed it. Came with the theme, I suppose?

    I will check all the 3rd party plugins later today. Here’s what I also see in console:

    JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1 jquery-migrate.min.js:2:542
    SecurityError: The operation is insecure. plugins.js:79

    t/E.setIcon https://www.laatusuklaa.fi/wp-content/themes/royal/js/plugins.js:79:5512
    t/v.reset https://www.laatusuklaa.fi/wp-content/themes/royal/js/plugins.js:79:1819
    t/v.ready https://www.laatusuklaa.fi/wp-content/themes/royal/js/plugins.js:79:1731
    p/l.onload https://www.laatusuklaa.fi/wp-content/themes/royal/js/plugins.js:79:1326

    What is this about?
